The Dew Drop Inn Motel in Miller, South Dakota–originally called The Sunset Motel–was built in 1959. Later on, the Lips family purchased the motel and renamed it Lips Motel. The property ultimately became The Dew Drop Inn Motel in 1992.

We were under load and travelling to the next drop. Found the hotel on my gps. No frills, but very clean and quiet. The gentleman at front was hard to understand as i wear hearing aides and he has a strong accent. Overall would stay again if I'm out that way.
Just what we needed. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. They even had a grill outside that we were able to use. I was in town on a hunting trip. We will be back again next year..
For being a small town motel, I think they keep up with the place pretty well! The owner is very nice and the room is clean and cozy. Compared to some other small town motels I have stayed in, this is by far the most comfortable.
Nice clean room, most important, comfortable beds! Hubby and I stayed for 2 nights, the owner and wife were very warm and welcoming. We asked for extra blankets and got brand new ones! They had HS tv and wifi. Heat/air worked great! Best hotel in Miller SD! Super convenient!
